Kamil Rychlicki hits above the block of Vibo's Luka Basic and Flavio Gualberto as he leads Perugia to a solid win in the Italian league.

Kamil Rychlicki of Luxembourg produced an MVP performance, lifting Sir Safety Conad Perugia to a 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-13) sweep of Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia which allows them to close in on table leaders Cucine Lube Civitanova at the top of the standings after Round 10 of the Italian men's volleyball league.

Inspired by an almost 2,000-strong crowd at home in the PalaBarton, he scored ten points (including two aces and two blocks) to lead Perugia, who now trail Lube by just three points and two matches to spare.

The only other players across both sides to score in double digits was Cuba-born Poland international Wilfredo Leon, who contributed a match high of 13 points to Perugia's tally.

Lube had played their own Round 10 match last month, beating Gioiella Prisma Taranto in straight sets.

Lube, alongside Itas Trentino (who also played their Round 10 match last month for a 3-1 win over Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and remain solidly in third place of the standings) are now in Brazil, ahead of the 2021 FIVB Men's Club World Championship which begins Tuesday.
