Week 2 of the Italian men's league takes place this weekend with an opportunity for six teams to claim their first victories in the 2022/23 season.

Among those six teams are Valsa Group Modena, last year's play-offs semifinalists, who claimed just one point after falling away to Pallavolo Padova in five sets last week. Also claiming one point in the first round, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza put on a good fight in front of their fans, but lost to WithU Verona in the tiebreaker.

The four teams looking for their first points on Saturday and Sunday are Emma Villas Aubay Siena, Gioiella Prisma Taranto, Allianz Milano, and Vero Volley Monza.

All matches this weekend will be available on Volleyball TV with commentary in English and Italian. The last match of the weekend between champions Cucine Lube Civitanova and Pallavolo Padova at 20:30 CEST on Sunday will also be available with Japanese commentary.
