The two host country teams are qualified automatically.

Each continental confederation qualifies teams through the continental pathway, with six berths reserved for CEV, four berths each for AVC and NORCECA, three berths for CSV and two berths for CAVB.

In case a host country team secures a spot at the continental championship, the next highest ranked team in that continental tournament would qualify to the U19 World Championship.

To complete the roster of 24 teams, the remainder of the teams, except CEV teams, qualify based on their position in the FIVB Girls’ U19 World Ranking.
